Hi Sue, Relax! A WBC of 3,500 is fine on Gleevec. Mine has gone to
2,500 at times. It normally stays around 3,500 to 4,000. With the older
style chemo these counts would indicate a dangerous toxicity, but not
with Gleevec! There is a combination of factors that you doctor should
monitor that include your WBC and your Neutrophils. I have posted a
