Hey Sue,
I was 250,000 when dx a little over a month ago. I was put on Gleevec 400 mg plus Hydroxurea. My counts are now normal because of the hydroxurea mostly. The gleevec just stops the new cells from being formed in my opinion. Hope that info helps. Good luck!
