Hi Kevin - Procrit doesn't seem to be on the menu for me yet. They did more
lab work and determined my B12 level was low. So I start with B12 injections monthly in the hopes that will bring me up to par. My face, too, is beginning to take
on a new shape. I'm trying to avoid ONE MORE drug before I ask for a
diuretic, but the fluid is pretty heavy around the eyes when I first get up in the a.m. Maybe later. That positive attitude is important I know, and it's day to day, hour to hour in the way we're feeling. Can't live with it, and can't live without it I guess.

Sounds good. I just came back from my Oncologist and he prescribed a
diuretic because I have Gleevec round face. He told me to take the
diuretic every other day and he wants to check my Potassium level in
3 weeks. He also mentioned there are several other anti-CML drugs
that should hit the market in the near future. Keep the faith. At
least there's a specific drug for CML and maybe more on the way!
