Hey Everyone, I can tell that everyone else is excited
as I am about Susan and the CNN story. I thought it
was great.
I just want to say how thankful I am to still be here
sharing Thanksgiving Day with my family and loved
ones. This year's holiday's are going to be sad for me
as my mother is no longer with me. She loved my turkey
n dressing, dumplings, and fruit salad so much. I
loved just having her with me. I'm blest that I do
have my husband, and both children and all are well,
safe and here at home. I cooked some tonight, and
going to finish up tomorrow at my sister-in-law's
where we are having dinner. It will be the first time
in many years that we can all go together as a family
to another family members house as someone always had
to be here with mother, and I usually cook at home or
Jim chose to stay home with mother so we and the kids
could go. So it will be nice for us to be altogether
minus my beloved mother.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, enjoy some
good eating, be with the ones you love whether it be
family or friends, and be thankful for all God has
blest us with. I'm hoping that every member of this
group has someone to be with and is capable of having
a meal whether it be one with all the trimmings of the
Thanksgiving dinner or not. A favorite quote of my
mother-in-law's was "I used to complain because I had
no shoes...until I met a man who had no feet." Back in
her day, she really didn't have shoes, or they were
worn out.
This goes out to each and everyone of you. Thank you
for sharing the last two years of your life with me. I
pray for us all to have many, many more together.
