Pat and Sue- Thanks for the info. The doctor my dad is seeing is listed as a hematologist/onocologist, which is good. I am not sure if my dad has started on the Gleevic yet, but I will check. He goes back to the doctor early next week. Unfortunately, my mom is fiercely independent and doesn't think she needs help understanding anything (even though she does). I think it will take some time for me to convince her that I should be going to the doctor appointments with her and dad. Happy Thanksgiving to All ! -Firebug
