Dear Group:
I just wanted to share some good news
I
have not had much time to read or post any messages the past few
months,
but I have the time now. I just wanted to share some good news
with the
group. The reason I have not had much time is I joined Team In
Training
was training to cycle a century. Well this past weekend I went
to Tucson
and rode 109 miles. It only took me 8 hours 12 seconds. I
also raised over
$5000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Two and a half years ago
when I was diagnosed with CML riding a century
never came to my mind as I
was 80 pounds over weight.
I am healther now then ever other then having
CML. In some ways I feel
that having CML has improve my life for the
better.
