If Terry can and wants to work part-time I think he is
better off than if he was to receive SSDI. I'm on SSDI
and I'll say that it does not provide enough for even
two people to survive! If it was not for the fact that
our family provides us with very low rent housing and
that we don't spend any money on anything that is not
100% necessary for basic survival, we would not be
making it. I think it is terrible that our own
government makes it so hard for deserving people to
receive benefits they have worked for and earned, but
the benefits come with a price. The price is you have
to say "I cannot do it!" For many of us men who have
learned never to say "I cannot..." this is very hard!
Terry is being denied because he has done what he has
always been taught to do... tough it out and do it. I
hope you understand what I'm saying, I'm pulling for
you, but as far a the U.S. is concerned Terry has made
their case for them by doing what he had to do.
