As 'Queen of the Side Effects", I wanna say that with my 9 Chronic Orthopedic Diseases, I am on heavy pain medication. For those of you with the joint/bone pain, please be careful with the dosages of any/all of the NSAIDS! ! ! Vicodin, Motrin, Aleve, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Darvon, Percocet and any of their derivatives as they contain Acetaminophen and they are processed by the Liver. The damage was done to mine pre our bug.
Last week I caught a news item in which a Doctor said that he advises his patients that 4,000 mg is standard; this may not be the norm for us with the gold. Some say that the liver repairs itself and we only need a small percentage of it to survive; I don't agree, and 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure'.
Biotene mouthwash also has a toothpaste; for those with any sores,
there's a generic prescription Chlorhexidine Gluconate Oral Rinse that worked for me last winter after a dental procedure. Biotene and Aveda may have websites. There's a company www.lindtskin.com that has products specially formulated for individuals undergoing radiation or chemotherapy. In my area, each hospital has a monthly makeover clinic for patients to attend and receive freebies. Its a one-time thing but after you go back into the hospital you can go back again, keeps everyone in cosmetics. As for our lips, Carmex, Blistex, and never forget the old standby Petroleum Jelly.
