1st of all I wanna say "Hi & CONGRATS" to my ANGEL Michael. . . I knew that you would be quick to reach remission. Remember to RELAX, don't STRESS, enjoy the CHILDREN, you will be fine.
As for Livia and Pat, my sister didn't stop taking Gleevec, she only took a holiday when her Mom passed. We all deserve a short holiday every once in a while. No one knows the ramifications of this treatment. I'm sure there has been a day when each one hasn't eaten correctly or for some reason 'forgotten' our gold.
We can blame our bug on a lot of different things, but so far exposure to Xrays, radiation; our bug being in our blood. Anemia, and I know that drinking plays a big part in that. A person drinking heavily is most likely not to eat nourishment. Cigarettes and alcohol are the main culprits, but there are people who died of the cancers without ever
drinking or smoking. I had an Aunt who never smoked or drank and wasn't exposed to 2nd hand smoke in her lifetime, she died of Lung Cancer. We have the people like Peter Jennings who quit in the early '90's, Superman's wife who never smoked and wasn't exposed. My god-sister had pancreatic cancer and never drank, but she did eat very spicy food throughout her lifetime.
I believe that our genetic code makes us predisposed to certain illnesses and diseases. Therefore, you must, from the beginning. . . prenatally be fed the right foods and not be exposed to the wrong elements, which is very hard in our society. A news item showed a panel of Doctor saying that a lot of the cancers that we have now are cancers that dogs have, and are secreted in the dogs urine and licking. I think about all the people who have dogs and let these animals lick their children in the face. He says that this will be a breakthrough in cancer research for humans.
