It sounds good to me. The question is this, is this a better result than the previous test? It does take time for the numbers to get really good, zero by FISH and then, later, zero by PCU. The important thing is that you progress in the right direction. Some doctors are trying to use higher doses to reach lower numbers faster and this is one direction of research. Some think the faster the numbers come down, the better... but I don't think that is proven yet. I keep hearing that the "normal" case takes 18 to 24 months on Gleevec as long as it is working.
