Congratulations Jessie, I am 4+ years from diagnosis and have been surviving on 400mg. of Gleevec. I live in Minnesota, have been married for 34 years and love bing a mom and grandmother. I also have tried to live a normal life with CML incorporated into it. There have been many obstacles (side effects) that have slowed me down this past year I have lost 80 lbs. from the side effects. It has been probably my most difficult year. I gave it all to GOD and accepted his will......and I am very optimistic for this NEW YEAR! This is probably the best I have felt in 4 years. My youngest is only 17 and she so needs her mommy! Life is great, and we are all in this together and i love the support from this group. I have been away for a while, I was to sick to do many things. And it's good to be back.
