Hi Jeannie Are you still in CCR? Is your PCR still stable? My platlets shot up to over 2 million! while on gleevec about 15 months ago. I don't want to scare you, but it was because I was relapsing and my cyto came back 100% pos and pcr back real high (after being PCR-u). If you havent had a recent FISH, bmb or PCR, I would definitley sugges that you request that your dr does one to see what is happening. On the good side though, there are other options besides gleevec out there. I started the BMS phase 2 trial a year ago and reached CCR in 3 months and my platlets went down to about 200 within a month and stayed there since. I hope your pcr and cytogenetics are fine and its just a "fluck" in your platlets! /karen
