Hi Vivi, I haven't heard of this before and I have been drinking green tea in moderation all through my treatment with Interferon and Gleevec. I am PCRU at the momen and have been for about 4 years.
Next time you visit your doctor it might be good to get some more clarificaiton on what she was saying. I haven't heard that green tea can interfer with gleevec therapy.
