Dear Melody,

I am so very sorry that you may have progressed to extramedullary
blast crisis. The doctors do need to find blast cells in your lymph
nodes to diagnose you extramedullary blast. Are there blasts in your
blood as well? This kind of disease is similar to acute lymphoblastic
leukemia (ALL) if there are blasts in the blood and doctors will
probably treat your with ALL chemo drugs to bring you back to chronic
phase before transplant. I wish you all the very best for a smooth
transplant journey. Transplant is a therapy option in CML and the best
one currently for anyone in blast crisis. Please let us know how
everything goes. Stay positive, dear Melody, you will beat this.

Kind Regards,
Anjana
