hi, sorry for writing after such a long time. My dad's BMB has come and it showed that now he is in blast crisis(30%).He was again transfused 3 units and yesterday his TLC was 2950 and HGB was 6.0(10 days after transfusion). now i want to ask whether these things happens in blast crisis or is there something else as well apart from this. the onc has increased his dose to 600mg from 400mg of glivec. Can this be brought back to chronic phase and how much has this affected his chance of survival as one of the doc told me that now he doesn't have enough time not even 5 years. It has really disturbed me a lot. Don't know what should I do? I am just praying to the god. Bye. Will try to write soon this time. Amit.
