Dear Jeanne, Did the doctors ever do a baseline MUGA for you after transplant? Just curious. Our doctor said that hard chemo drugs can cause cardiomyopathy and before SCT, a lot of these drugs are taken, Also, after SCT, you have to be on a lot of meds. If you google SCT and cardiomyopathy, there is a lot of information. Cataracts are common for post-SCT patients.
I would mention your medical history to any register you go to, whether with Novartis or otherwise. I wish you good health.
