Hi Laura,

  If the PCR test is zero, it means you are undetectable or in complete
molecular remission.  Are you sure it is PCR and not FISH?  I remember
your doctor was doing FISH before for you. If it is PCR which is zero,
warm congratulations since most on Gleevec do not test undetectable by
PCR.  Depending on the sensitivity of the PCR, you may be at more than
a 4 or 5 log reduction.  One thing to check would be the sensitivity of
the PCR machine, most CML experts advise to do PCR on one that can at
least detect 1 CML cell out of 100,000 normal cells.
