Hi Mike and that's so true; I'm 68 also and my hubby use to tell me when I told him I was tired that that was the big 60; a few years back, so now we young oldies have to realize some of our symptoms could be ageing.  I think also all of us have to realize we have leukemia and leukemia itself has many affects on the body.
Blessings to all,
Jeanie<3

I didn't know I had CML when I was diagnosed.  High WBC picked up in my
annual physical.  After starting Gleevec, I had several side effects,
some of which have gone away (nausea), some of which have remained
(edema, especially around the eyes) and some new ones that have since
developed (weight gain, muscle fatigue, "thin skin").  I've been on
Gleevec (600) 21 months now.  All things considered, managing pretty
well.  A big issue for me is distinguishing Gleevec side effects from
the effects of aging.  I'm 68.  Trust me, it's hard to tell at my age.
