My first doctor actually lost my first FISH test...rotfl. That same day my mom and I(my then wife had decided she did not want to go to the visit) were waiting in the exam room for that doc when we saw him get on a phone and proceed to try and cover his rear end over some mistakes he made and not checking on patients he had at the local hospital. The thing was he forgot to close the door and did not know we heard every word..rotfl. Needless to say I fired him and went to who I see now. I am hoping this doc here in Cincinnati is a good one. The funny thing is I think CBC(most likely my soon to be former doctors) just want me out of their office. I think when I went off about the way Dr. Montez treated me shook them up a bit..hehe. I guess I shall wait and see.
I know I will not miss the drive that is for sure. Take care,

this new doc works out for you...you're so lucky that s/he's so close!
I also have to travel quite a distance to see my onc, so I know how you
feel.  Sometimes I wish they could make home visits!!!  (I wonder what
that would cost?!)  Sorry about missing your appointment...that would
really tick me off!  My biggest complaint in appointments past is when
I have had test results come back as inconclusive...but at least the
doctor has always been there to tell me that if nothing else!  I always
wondered why if a test came back inconclusive, why couldn't they just
call me at home and tell me that there's nothing new...anyway, you hang
in there and good luck with your new doc!  Hope it's everything you
want it to be!
