Dear John, Could it be osteopenic? Osteopenic is when the bone density is lower than normal or the bones grow thin. And those who are osteopenic are at risk for osteoporosis which is a more serious condition when bones become brittle to the point that fractures can easily happen.
I always have John Jr. in my thoughts. Karyn has reported that on Sprycel, Tony is growing and he was not on Gleevec, maybe something to keep in mind for discussion with the doctor.
