I have had diarrhea and nausea since I started taking Gleevec - 400 mgs over 4 years ago. It comes and goes. I take Immodium for the diarrhea and Compazine (a prescription drug) for the nausea. Sometimes it gets worse and I will have a week where I am so sick and nothing seems to help. I worry about eating enough to keep the Gleevec down.
I just got an email from my aunt and she mentioned that my uncle is eating yogurt to help settle his stomach. He is currently getting treated for prostate cancer. I'm going to keep some in the house and see if it works.
