I can't believe it's been 6 years since my husband was diagnosed. Many of you remember us since we went through the Portland, Oregon Interferon/gleevec trials and the Johns Hopkins vaccine trials (recently). I can't remember but I think my husband is number 318 on Zavie's list. I haven't posted lately since everything is stable. I only lurk now and then and was wondering if anyone knows what kind of Leukemia Ed Bradley died from. The only thing I could find was that he was diagnosed 2 years ago, was in remission and caught pneumonia 2 weeks before he died and died from complications of that. On a side note, the husband is still on 800 mgs of Gleevec. He had both knees replaced this year (I suspect the gleevec accelerated the arthritis in his knees). We've had dinner with families who've come to Baltimore for treatment and invite anyone else out there who's coming to contact us. It's actually a lot of fun meeting other people and we've made some long distance friends. Rosemary
