The FISH test must be done on the sample within 48 hours or the sample
will be spoiled.  After 48 hours, the rest of the time it takes to get
results is just waiting for the report to get back.  Most specimens are
sent out to specialty labs, unless the sample is taken a a major
oncology hospital.  When the specimen is sent out, ten days or two
weeks is normal reporting timeframe.  Three months is not an acceptable
response time.

The 18 months to molecular remission is just a guide, and is a very
flexible one.  Since you did not respond well to lower doses, you
probably need to look at 18 months from the start of 800mg just to take
a conservative view of it.  There is no rule on that, but it would make
sense in your case.

Ph+ levels certainly fluctuate, and more in some people than others.
That is why longer term trends are more significant than short term
fluctuations.
