Yes, I am now on a high blood pressure med. I was dx with CML on 9/11/01. Gleevec was my first line of defense and I have done well. Have been in total remission within months of dx. It was dx early on. I take 300 mg Gleevec daily. Don't know if the high blood pressure is due to a side effect or if it is just my age. I am 68. I can't complain too much....considering CML is the lesser of many evils out there. Sara
