Hi Charles,
It's normal to be nervous the first time going to any specialist for a
problem such as ours. I was diagnosed with CML in June 2006 & have been on
Gleevec ever since. I've had my ups and downs but its not the end of the road,
i've had to take a couple of detours but I'm doing ok. I haven't been a
member of CMLHope a long time but there's a lot of support and knowledge here.

just inherited a bunch of new
