Hi Chuck....I guess I'm a veteran and doing okay for 68. I've had CML for
about 7 years now and am still working on remission. It hasn't happened yet,
but I always have hope. Everyday they're learning new things about this thing
and I'm sure they'll continue doing so. Reading messages from this group
proves to me that I'm not alone....Hang in there and let us hear from you from

It's normal to be nervous the first time going to any specialist for a
problem such as ours. I was diagnosed with CML in June 2006 & have been on
Gleevec ever since. I've had my ups and downs but its not the end of the road,
i've had to take a couple of detours but I'm doing ok. I haven't been a member
of CMLHope a long time but there's a lot of support and knowledge here. You
just inherited a bunch of new
friends thats rooting for you, hang in there.
