Hi Lee,
My husband, Clyde, has been on Gleevec for CML since April 2001, just
before it was approved by the FDA. He was able to join a clinical
trial at City of Hope in Duarte, CA. Clyde is also very cold
constantly. His hands feel very, very cold. We also feel that it must
be from the Gleevec, but as his only other side effect is edema
(swelling) under both eyes and he has a thick liquid from his eyes
also. But since he has been in complete remission since Aug. 2001, we
sure can't complain.
