I had extreme nausea at the beginning of taking Gleevec, 400mg in one
go. I began taking a half a Zofran tablet and that stopped the
nausea. Later on, I was meeting with Dr. Druker and Carolyn, his
assistant, suggested I take 200mg in the a.m. and 200mg in the p.m.
Since then, I've had no nausea and my PCR results have held at
"undetectable." But I DO have to take the Gleevec on a full stomach,
after breakfast and after dinner.
