Richard R. and others, I started Gleevec the first week in Feb. of 2000. Have had most of all the side effects that you all have had. Two summers ago when we moved to Springfield, MO., was doing a lot of yard work and it does get very hot here, not like back in Northwest Indiana. One morning I had an attack of heat exhaust, felt like passing out etc. Scared the hell out of me. I haven't been the same. I get nausea off and on, now I'm getting some light dizziest to go with the nausea. Been to the Doctor here but they don't know what's going on. My Doctor back in Chicago where I'm in a study told me after all these years I (should not get any nausea, etc.). But you know they don't know what goes on here. Theirs been drugs on the market for many years and their just now finding out different side affects. I'm going to change Doctor's and Hosp. here in Springfield this coming week to get someone else's input. It's been 2 years and I feel like you know what most of the time. Greenie Springfield, MO.
