thank you greenie for your feedback. i can't imagine working like that. the
trial lasts 6 months, so i guess i will just try to survive the side effects
and fight hard...

My heart goes out to you. When I first found out I had CML I was in a study
in Chicago. They put me on Interferon for 3 months. Injection of 3, 6 then 9
cc each night. It was for ME the worse thing I have ever been through. Felt
like I had the flu and a temp over one hundred for the hole 3 months. Then I
went on Gleevec (STI571) for you oldies. That was Feb of 2000. Gleevec saved
my life. Hope all works well for you.
