Hi Anjana and thanks. Yes I would like to talk to her. I have been thinking of taking Hydroxyurea; I mentioned the Agrylin to him and he did say it could cause heart problems. Dear Jeanie, Agrylin is used by some doctors to lower platelet counts but it can have some unwanted side-effects. I would talk over Hydroxyurea and Agrylin with your doctor if your platelet counts do not come down and note the pros and cons of each drug.
