Hi Anjana and thanks.
Yes I would like to talk to her.
I have been thinking of taking Hydroxyurea; I mentioned the Agrylin to him
and he did say it could cause heart problems.
It's strange; most CML patients have to cope with low counts and mine are
high.
Go figure.

Dear Jeanie,

Agrylin is used by some doctors to lower platelet counts but it can
have some unwanted side-effects. I would talk over Hydroxyurea and
Agrylin with your doctor if your platelet counts do not come down and
note the pros and cons of each drug. I know a caregiver from
California whose husband has been on both Hydrea and Agrylin, if you
would like to chat with her, let me know. She can share experiences
with you.

Love,
Anjana
