My insurance did the same thing about a year ago. I went from paying
$100 for 3 month supply to paying $200 for the same amount. Still not
bad when you consider what the insurance company is being paid. Next
year I must take Medicare coverage. That will be the real challenge.
The first month will exceed the donut hole and then it's going to be
about $175 a month. So I will go from $800 a year to several thousand
as things stand now. It bugs me to know that Novartis is pulling in
all these dollars when all they put up was 10% of the research costs.
Wish I had a financial interest in their conglomerate!
