Hi all, Well, after being on Gleevec for about 41/2 years, I had my first eye bleed. I think I caused it as my eyes have been itching due to pollen, and I rubbed my eye. I know better, but when I looked in the mirror later, there it was, a big red eye! It would have really scared me, but thanks to this list, a few years ago, there was a discussion on eye bleeds. It is not painful and will clear up on it's on ,but it looks scary. I have been taking a higher dose of Gleevec due to high platelets. Thanks a lot for all the input. Jeanie<3
