Hi Pat,
I think you should do exercises and also talk to your doctor if you can take
glivec 4 times a day ( I mean four  100mg pills a day every 6 hours or so,
 instead of 400 mg once) . In that way you could eat just a  small amount of
food while taking only 100mg pill.
I think that you should avoid  take any medications to increase your
appetite - please try to do everything you can - try new kind of foods and
everything  in order to avoid take more medications.
