Jeanie,
I am so sorry you have to switch.  What a bummer.  But, I will tell
you  and like I said in an earlier post, Tasigna is the drug of choice
for me. Not only is it powerful but the side effects are absolutely
gone for me. Check out the info on it and let me know if you need the
attachments. I will send them to you. Your overall health will play a
part in whether you can start it or not. And when we did, they did an
EKG every 7 days for three weeks and then at month intervals. I guess
there was a minimal possibility of problems. But I had none and have
been clear all the  time.
