Hi Jeanie, I had to switch from Gleevec to Tasigna and so far so good. I have had some muscle problems, but that might not be from the drug. Other then that I've had much fewer problems then on Gleevec. They have to do routine EKG's and I'm due for another one soon, but then I also have heart problems, and so they're being very careful.
I wish you luck on whatever you decide to do. I know that I was frightened when starting the new drug as I thought that I'd have lots of side effects, but, honestly, they're much less. Let me know what you decide and how it's working for you.
