Hi all and thanks Ricardo,
I believe in exercise also but the insomnia I have doesn't seem to respond
to anything.
I finally resorted to Ambium and got some sleep but I hope it doesn't give
me nightmares like it did before.
The PMs over the counter don't work for me and make me nervous.
Thanks for all the advice on the insomnia.

The best way to deal with insonia is do exercises in the evening - it's
hard, but if your body is tired, even against your mind, you will sleep!

Hello Sorry to butt in but the talk about sleeping pills.! I didn't think
it was a side effect of gleevec. I have beenon gleevec since it came out.
What about 6 yrs? anyway I have been having trouble sleeping and started
taking Advil PM every once in awhile. I'v always been a nite person but this
is
rediculace(silly) I'am up till day lite and sleep till noon or if I take a
sleeping pill till later in the day. I don't want to get hooked on sleeping
pills but I'am getting tired of not sleeping. Thanks for letting me know
someone else is out there with the same problem. I was wondering if its just
me
my age or gleevec. JUDY dx98
