As an added note, I have a friend who has or had: 1. Myasthenia gravis. 2. Two heart attacks before the age of 40. 3. Non-Hodgkins lymphoma with large and small cell bone cancer (in over 10 years' remission). 4. Lupus. 5. Fibromyalgia.
She is doing GREAT. It is believed that the heart attacks were the result of the, at that time, undiagnosed lupus. The fibromyalgia is giving her the most trouble at this point (muscle and joint pain). She eats well, gets plenty of rest and has no flares and takes NO medication for the lupus or any of the other maladies. If anybody should donate their body to science, it's her!
