Hi once again.
Hope you all have a very healthy and happy New Years.
Well my blood counts are about as low as they can go
I need platelets about once or twice a week and every two
weeks I receive 2 bags of HGB. My liver enzymes all shot
through the roof.  Gosh after a few days off Nilotinib I sure
felt good.  My doctor thinks if he can get my body to
accept the drugs I should do well.  I do caution anyone
going on Dasatinib (sprycell) be careful of plural effusion

I have to have a BCR test soon and a BMA so I will know
more.  My white count came up above 2.0 its now 2.8 and
my ANC got off the floor of less then 200 to about 430.
They were not happy when my wbc was 0.5 and
ANC 150, So I guess I doing ok no real problems yet
except with my ferritin count, It jumped to over 3000
but they now are to just over 1500, I know that is high
but I get so many infusions that Exjade is having a hard
time. So until the new year nothing new, I will be told if
I go up in Nilotinib.  Thanks for all your concern,
Happy healthy New Year

Hey Skip
I think we discussed this before but the low dose of nilotinib has
maintained my PCRU for a year. I take 400 mg once a day in the
morning.  So far, so good.  I do still have side effects but nothing
like gleevec.
Good luck and I hope it continues. I forget, besides elevated liver
levels, what was your CML status?
