Jeanie: I looked at the last results done in Nov. since I haven't received the latest taken a week & half ago since yesterday was a holiday with no mail. I fluctuate between 11.4 down to 10 and according to their lab..... 12.1 is their low.....so, anything below that to them is low. So, as you can see, it's really not all that bad.....I was told by a lady RN that comes to my church that most doctors will want to do a transfusion if it drops to 9 or below. I told her, "then we don't want it to do that, right?" :) I've never been below a 10 even when I was at my worst. This and my red blood counts are just right below......so, I just tolerate it.
