Yehhhhhhhhhh SusieQ, so happy everything was good. I just got mine back also; All my blood counts were in the normal range. Hey! I'll take that any day. My WBC were 8, and I would like for them to be a little lower, but still it's normal. My platelets were 165, a little down from last time, but the most exciting news was my hemg; it was 13.9, a little up from last time and my RBC were 4.27, now that's a winner. If you remember, I'm the one with all the really low RBCs and had to have 2 transfusions a couple of months ago; so I'm celebrating for sure. This Tasigna is a wonder. I received latest blood work report yesterday by mail. I was so excited, couldn't hardly contain myself, so wanted to share. Triglycerides........102 (their reference range is 150 mg/dl) Total Cholesterol 196 (125 - 200 mg/dl) HDL...................59 (46 mg/dl) I guess mine is ok even though it is higher than their reference range LDL...................117 (130 mg/dl (calc)) The only thing I saw that concerned me a little bit is my white cell count has doubled since last November when I saw my hem/onc. It is 6.8 (3.8 - 10.8 their range). I know this is not bad......and I am not going to be overly concerned, but it makes me wonder a bit. Will be interested to see what they are next Monday when I see my hem./onc. My platelets had risen as well from 212 to 242 (140 to 400 their range). I know all labs are different.....I said something to my mom that maybe I had some sort of infection in my body at that time I wasn't aware of and she said "well, infections do cause the white cells to rise, so you could have". Any how....I will wait until Monday and see for myself. I could not read the red blood cell count as it was smudged. The Hemoglobin was 11.4.
