Well........went to Center to see my doctor for quarterly visit and
all went well except in the Lab. When I came out, my mom told me to
sit down and put my head down.....so, I must have been white as a
sheet. First time in a very long time that it has bothered me. Sort
of my fault as I gave her my right arm not thinking about how sore the
muscles were from doing some spot cleaning of my carpet a few days
earlier. As soon as she stuck in the needle, it hurt and burned the
whole time & my blood was a little slow about flowing (four tubes
worth this time). But this was not the whole problem, she sat me
next to a man who was apparently having problems and there were lots
of people working on him........had already stuck him several
times.....then wrapped him up in blankets, taking vitals, etc. All
of this right in my eyesight. Course, I couldn't help but watch as I
was wondering what they were going to do next & I felt so sorry for
the man. Anyway....she finally finished up and let me go......I left
as fast as I could get out of there. (smile)

Visit with the nurse practitioner went very well. Counts were all
good......when she was finished with me and ready to make the next
appointment......I suggested since it was my five year
anniversary.....could we possibly stretch out the visits......& she
asked me if I was comfortable with doing that & I said "yes".....so,
next visit went to six months. I told her that I know my insurance
will be happy. (smile) My white count was back to 4.4.....and
Platelets were up some more 256. I told her about the last results
from the new Primary Doctor and she said it could just be differences
in labs. I agreed.

Everyone have a wonderful day,
Suzieq
