Dear Jody,

I am new to this group, but it has been a wonderful help to me.  After only 10 days on Gleevec my WBC dropped from 22.5 to 11.1. As of my last doctor's visit it was 3.3.
My RBC is still not where it should be, but I am hopeful that it will be in a few more weeks.

Jody, I will put Jim on my prayer list and hopefully Gleevec will help him with little or no side effects.

Just have faith and know "that this too shall pass".

Thank you to all who have responded to me! I for the first time feel hope. I have been so depressed these last 2 weeks.....you are all angels and I bless all of you and will be praying for everyone! Jim stated Gleevec a wk and a 1/2 ago...so to early to tell if this will work for him, but his last blood draw came back and it's starting to go in the right direction....I am so glad that I found this support group!
