Hi Susan, I go to Moffitt also-see Dr Balducci-I really like him. I am on 100 mgs of Sprycell and my blood is already back to normal. Good luck, Jeanie<3 In a message dated 12/10/2009 2:23:32 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, [email protected] writes:
For Tony, yes my counts are slowly rising, have about 40% leukemic cells in my blood now but still in cytogenetic remission. I try to go as natural as possible with eating and supplements and also have a biofeedback machine called a SCIO machine which treats me weekly for leukemia. I think that has helped keep the counts down a lot longer than what the doctor predicted. He said no more than six months and I would be out of control.....hahahaha proved him wrong. I treasure every day with no medicine, but am encouraged about sprycel having fewer side effects. They do a fish test every 2 months now on me. Last July I showed about 27% leukemic cells, and now it's 40%. I am keeping Dr. Javier Panilla in my back pocket from Tampa's Moffitt Center. He is the greatest, but am seeing someone locally in Orlando now while I'm off medicine. Everyone have a wonderful, lovely Christmas! God bless you and keep on fighting!
