Hi guys, I love my insurance and it is government Medicare insurance. They paid for just about all my CML care last year including $100,000 dollars for drugs. How great is that? I had private insurance, but they decided they had paid enough and refused to pay anymore. America is the greatest country in the world even with it's flaws. I hope everyone is well and stay well, CML WARRIORS. Blessings Jeanie<3 In a message dated 1/9/2010 4:38:27 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, [email protected] writes:
This is a common misconception held by statists and the American left. In reality a national defense is one of the very few authorities actually enumerated in the US Constitution and in the case of Iraq and Afghanistan, they aren't unnecessary. In fact, the Iraq effort was enabled by the UN and came after ten years of violations, during which time it was the Democrats who continually called for action. Healthcare is not a constitutional right or mandate - quite the opposite. Nationalizing healthcare is the surest way to ruin it, as Medicare and prescription plans are already a combined nearly one hundred trillion dollars upside down. Nationalizing health - which under these plans has already happened - will impair medical research and risk CMLer's lives. We HAVE healthcare. Let's not ruin it be coveting a whim about it being both state-of-the-art and somehow "free" so badly that we wreck it.
