Hello All, I have a question and would like to check and see if others have experienced similar. I am on 400mg Gleevec and on Novartis trial 106.
My oncologist told me that the BRC-ABL by RT-PCR blood work that I got done at Quest Labs in December shows big increase from 0.0004 to 0.069 which is not good. However the blood work done by Novartis reference lab which was done just 50 days prior to Quest Blood work shows no change from last one. We will be repreating Quest blood work but not sure how things can change in 40-50 days. Could the method used by Quest be different? Has anyone experienced something similar? Only reason why I went to Quest after getting study blood work is sometimes it takes months for Study blood work to come back.
