Pat viewed your e-mail about your problem. My Dr. told me to try Prevacid, and
you can get over the counter now. It worked for me, you should talk to your Dr.
about it. Greenie club member #48 Message-----

Subject: [CMLHope] Re: More Questions About Gleevec

Thank you Marty for your prayer, and taking the time to try to give me

some hope. I truly from my heart thank you. I am a living, still

breathing human being but I am a MISERABLE living being. Every

day....the gleevec is destroying me, I think, but I also have other

health problems, I have emphysema, I am severely depressed, I am

struggling financially...barely surviving, I have other personal

issues going on within my family....and it's just every day is like

the day before...I don't have any good days anymore so there is

nothing to look forward to but more misery. I don't think I am a

candidate for sprycel due to my lungs but that is an option I may have

to try...and just hope for the best. I can't describe to you how bad I

feel, how fatigued. Most people on gleevec gain weight, I lost weight,

lost my appetite. Just simply trying to force down food is such a

major task....food is revolting to me. The acid reflux is eating up my

insides. I'm sorry I went into this much detail, this is things I

shouldn't even be discussing here, I suppose. But thank you again for

your comforting words.

Love,Peace,Hope & Prayers, Pat
