Suzieq, don't stop the Gleevec without letting your Doctor know what's
going on. I started last year for 26 days and my next lab work showed that
cancer cells were back in my blood. greenie

Actually, Marty:

I did discuss with the my doctor's nurse practitioner about taking a
Gleevec "vacation", but didn't stop to think about lower dosage. I
may just have that discussion on the next visit.
Would probably be better than stopping all together. I'm a little
afraid my insurance might not pick it back up later if I went off of
it for a few months, know what I mean. But, lowering the
dose would be welcomed. :) :)

Blessings to all,
Suzieq
