Jeanie, when we lived in Springfield, MO. I paid $17.00 each month. When we moved back to Indiana it went up to $73.00. You can see that the cost of living from state to state makes a different. I pay $15.00 for and office visit, $35.00 for a Specialist and $50.00 for and Hospital Emergency visit. Drugs are about the same as all of the other insurance. When I checked with AARP they were much higher then Humana. Their are some State Farm agents that work with Humana, you will need to check it out. They want $95.00 each month at Ft. Myers, FL. so I'm keeping Indiana as my home base as we will be living with family members during the summer. When your on a fixed income you have to work all of the angles. Plus you know that done of us have had an increase in our SS the last two years. Hope this helps. And they say it will be another two years before we do.
