Marcie, I take 300mg each day which is the lowest they will allow. But a few years ago I got a sinus infection and Doctor gave me some med's and it made me very sick. It increased my dose 2 to 3 times higher which in turn gave me extreme fatigue. That's when I stopped taking my Gleevec for 26 days to clean out my system. But my next blood work showed that some cancer cells showed back up in my test results. You need to check with your Doctor and ask a few questions about how much you need to be taking. Of course each person is different, some take 2 pills for an headache and 1 works for me. As for Fort Myers, coming from Northwest Indiana near Chicago we moved just in time. My son lives in Chicago and the winter has been (I should say not the BEST). It rained out this a.m. and it's cold but nothing like everyone else is getting. Going to be in the 70's Sat. Grace and I went fishing on the shore on the gulf yesterday and I caught 2 stingrays. Of course I let them go, but what a fight they gave me. Stay Well, Greenie Fort Myers, FL.
